About This 1875 Cabin On 24 Acres In Fredericksburg Texas
A Gillespie County original, this cabin is believed to have been built on site in the 1875 time frame and has undergone a complete restoration by Richard Laughlin. Log, stone, sweat and tears have built and kept this together over the years. Additional original structures include a smokehaus, carriage house and several barns.
As you leave the original compound you will pass by a cave in the side of the hill as you venture to the top where there is a magnificent area to build a new home surrounded by century oaks and picturesque long range views. Close to town yet the silence is deafening.
