The Maxwell-Stokely House was originally constructed in the 1850’s as a vernacular Greek Revival center hall cottage. It was purchase by the Maxwell family in 1879 and they completed a major Queen Anne style addition in 1895. This historic home has most of its original features including unique, intricate woodwork, fireplace mantels, grand interior staircase, historic windows and a corner tower.
It has been carefully updated by its preservation minded owner to include HVAC, electrical and plumbing updates.
