  1. Hah! That bathroom. You’ve got to be kidding me. And what’s with the crazy barrel vaulted ceiling in the kitchen? So inappropriate for that house. What is wrong with people?

    • I’ll tell you what’s wrong: the owner’s overblown opinion of themselves as exemplified by the gargantuan portraits, the idiotic placement of the grand piano under a staircase, and that very stupid looking columnated bathroom. Need I say any more?

  2. House Shows …. Very Stark and Cold ….!!!!!
Not a Warm and Inviting Place …….!!!!!
And Those HUGE Family pictures ……!!!!!
What were they thinking ……??? ……((( Trump Style Decorating )))
Completely Out of Character with a Fine Southern Property ……

  3. This is a nice one. And strange. Love those stairs and the super wide hall and entry, and the size of the formal dining room. But… I have to agree with Tres Charmante above about the kitchen, especially and the bathroom posing as a Roman bath.

  4. I’ve never been to Columbus, but my mother’s father’s family had many generations there. It seems likes there are lots of beautiful old houses there – I gotta get there some day…

  5. Some of the worst updates I have ever seen done to a house. They will need to cut the asking price by at least 50% since the new owner will have a lot to remove and restore.

  6. Wish it was in a different state-location. Perfect setup for renting out for intimate weddings-receptions. When not being used great for B&B and/or Milonga’s (tango dances.)

  7. Love this home! I’m sorry, but the comments people are leaving are ridiculous and rude. No manners whatsoever! Too bad their parents didn’t teach them respect. I think all of you should post photos of your own homes. I have a feeling people might be a little more humble if that were the case. I’m pretty sure they would all have gray painted walls, white painted cabinets, and stainless appliances (so creative).
