This exquisite home was built by famed architect Louis Kamper of the architectural firm of Stanford White in New York. It was his personal residence. The spacious back lot contains a 30 ft swimming pool and a rose garden.
What I love about this home
Built by architect Louis Kamper (who spent his early career at the firm of Stanford White in New York City), this solid Indiana Limestone house was Kamper’s personal residence. It contains travertine marble floors and walls throughout the lower and upper floors, gracious high ceilings, hand carved rosewood doors and ornate plaster and woodwork throughout the home, a carved marble fireplace and floor to ceiling windows. The neighborhood is called Indian Village and is on the National Historic Register.
