  1. It’s very tidy. But why do people feel compelled to put words on walls? It’s one of the things decorators abhor. Major house, and quite beautiful, but the owners weren’t quite up to the task of doing up the interiors appropriately. Still a good deal, and the buyers can zhush it up when it changes hands.

  2. There isn’t much to change about this place–except to paint the exterior. It is beautifully done, words and all. I think its nice to have what is seemingly the name of the place in the entry, and if it isn’t the name of the property it is a positive wish for all the world. I love the fireplaces and mantles, floors, all the woodwork inside, and that porch. I do wish the outbuildings looked more like the house. The modern garage doors and dark red barn paint look out of place to me. I’d take this place in a heart beat if I could and sit on either the porch or 2nd floor balcony watching the weather change.

  3. I will bet the wood under some of that white trim is gorgeous. It would have been nice to see at least some of it highlighted.
