About This 1845 Historic Bellevue In Society Hill South Carolina
Historic Bellevue, circa 1845, needs additional restoration. The four chimneys have been rebuilt in the main home; the electrical system has been updated. A galvanized standing seam metal roof was installed in 2008 on main portion of the home. The kitchen and bath were removed to restore porch to its original configuration. An antebellum carriage house and cabin with double-sided fireplace are also on the property and need restoration also. Many wonderful mature trees and plantings are on the 18 acres.
