  1. I don’t believe I have ever seen a home this beautiful!! I wish I could have the chance to walk the halls of this home and pretend it’s mine. To have the ability to have the money to own this – we’ll, you are truly blessed! I am so honored to have a means to say I got to see this! Thank you! So very very beautiful!!!

  2. Why do people always “update” the kitchens and destroy the entire integrity of the period of the house? As nice as it is, the kitchen does not go along with the remainder of Belle Alliance and would be the one thing that would be immediately changed if I could ever afford her.

    • I, for one enjoy opulent, older homes, but prefer a newer kitchen because I enjoy cooking, especially baking. If I had to stoke the coal or stack the wood, and the temperatures were not as accurate, I could not do what I do, and I prefer the convenience. Also, back then, the owners probably had servants. 100+ years ago, they would have updated their kitchen to make it more convenient if they could have. This is not a museum, it is a home. There may not have been a bathroom with running water back in the day, but homes were and are updated.

  3. It has been updated to be as amazing today, just as it was intended to be amazing back when it was built. Great work, job well done. Thank you for sharing.

  4. Oh, I love this, and am thankful it was updated all through with lighter paint, etc but am also thankful for every original part that is married so well to the newer. Not one single complaint here! It is just about perfect in every way, as Mary Poppins might say.
